The women’s tennis team opened its season this past Friday with a 5-0, rain-shortened win, against Alfred University.

In the match, Lipscomb won in straight sets at No. 3 singles without surrendering a game. She also was victorious at No. 2 doubles with her partner posting an 8-0 score.

This past Saturday, Lipscomb also won her flight at the New Paltz Tournament winning a pair of matches.
