This past weekend against Buffalo State and Fredonia to open the conference schedule, Bluethgen appeared in all four games including a pair of starts.  For her effort, she came away with a 1-1 record while recording a save.

Her highlight game came in the opener versus Fredonia on Saturday where she threw a complete game, two-hit shutout.  Bluethgen retired the first 15 batters she faced in the game and didn’t allow a hit until the seventh inning.

In the second game of the Fredonia doubleheader, Bluethgen pitched a scoreless seventh inning to record her first save of the season.

Bluethgen is currently 5-3 this spring with a 5.13 ERA.  She has recorded 32 strikeouts in 57 innings.
