Ponesse recorded a pair of solid starts during Oneonta’s trip south to face Bridgewater, Maryville, Finlandia and Plattsburgh.

In his two starts, Ponesse three 13 innings and allowed only eight hits and two earned runs.  He struck out six batters and held opponents to a .174 batting average.

Ponesse is currently 0-1 this season with a 2.05 ERA.  In 22 innings of work, he has allowed 17 hits and five earned runs while striking out 14 batters.
