Despite the team going 1-2 last week, Bethel was 3-0 in his bouts against individuals from Oswego, Southern Maine and Penn Tech.

Bethel started his week with a 12-0 major decision victory against Kade Andrew of Oswego.  This past Saturday, Bethel recorded a pair of pins in his matchups with Risti of Southern Maine and Otis of Penn Tech.

Bethel will enter the NCAA Mideast Regional in two weeks with an overall record of 28-3 including half of his wins by pin.  Bethel, who is currently ranked No. 3 at 285 pounds, will be vying for his third trip to the NCAA Division III championships in March.
