Brynin recorded three individual event wins while swimming a leg on a winning relay in a close loss to rival SUNY Cortland this past Saturday in the regular season finale.
Brynin started his day swimming the lead leg of the 200-yard medley relay that finished with a winning time of 1:41.04 more than one second ahead of the Cortland foursome.
Brynin’s next two victories came in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke events. He touched in 1:00.58 to win the 100 and touched the wall in 2:12.44 to win the 200. His time in the latter was a full eight seconds ahead of the runner-up from Cortland.
Brynin’s final win came in the 400-yard individual medley (4:24.25).
