SUNY Oneonta Athletics

Murphy recorded four victories last week including three wins at the John Reese Duals hosted by nationally ranked Wilkes University.  Murphy’s three wins helped Oneonta complete a 3-0 day with victories against Lackawanna, Washington & Jefferson and host Wilkes.

Murphy recorded a pair of wins by decision while recording a pin in his opening match of the day against his opponent from Lackawanna.  His 3-2 decision in the Wilkes match helped Oneonta with its come-from-behind win.

Murphy is currently 16-14 this season three pins.  Murphy placed sixth at last weekend’s ECWC championships to earn All-Conference honors.
