Fowler helped lead the volleyball team to the overall team title this past weekend at the Dig Pink Invitational hosted by Oneonta. The Red Dragons swept the competition with a 4-0 mark that included victories against Elmira, Bard, Baruch and Hartwick.
Fowler’s top performance came in a five-set win against Elmira to open the tournament. In the match, she established a new single match record with 59 assists, breaking the old mark of 53 set back in 1997.
During the weekend, Fowler also surpassed 1,000 assists becoming only the fourth player in program history to do so. Her current total of 1,062 assists is third best all-time for a season.
