Bethel earned the second All-American honor of his career this past weekend after finishing 5th at 285 lbs. at the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships hosted by Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Bethel was seeded fourth in his bracket and advanced to the semifinals before falling to the No. 1 seed, which sent him to the consolation bracket.

In the consolation bracket, Bethel lost by major decision to Adarios Jones of Augsburg who was seeded sixth, which put him in the 5th place match.  In his final bout of the championships, he held on to defeat Donny Rolston of Wisconsin Stevens Point 8-6.
