Knox picked up his first individual collegiate tournament title this past Saturday by winning the 133 lbs. weight class at the Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference championships.

Knox, seeded fourth in his weight class, had a perfect 4-0 day that culminated with a win against teammate, top-seeded and nationally ranked Austin Sisco.

Knox scored 25.5 team points for the Red Dragons with a tech fall and two major decisions coming in the tournament. In the championship match, Knox and Sisco needed a tie-breaker to decide the champion with the nod going to Knox by a score of 14-10.

Knox is currently 25-7 in his rookie season with six pins.
