Bethel earned All-State honors at the NYS Collegiate Championships on Sunday, Nov. 20. He advanced to the final at 285 pounds where he fell to nationally ranked Garrett Ryan of Division I Columbia University.

Bethel went 3-1 at the championships held at Cornell University. His three victories included two decisions and one pin.

This was the second time of his career that Bethel has earned All-State honors.

Bethel, who is ranked No. 3 nationally, is currently 12-1 on the season with seven pins.
