Lupia was the top finisher for Oneonta this past Saturday at the NCAA Atlantic Region championships. His 11th place finish helped to lead the Red Dragons to a fifth place team finish and, in the process, help the men receive an at-large berth to the NCAA Division III Championships in Louisville, KY this weekend.

The berth is the first in the history of the men’s program, which dates back to the 1960’s.

Lupia’s time of 24:49 broke his own school record for the 8K distance. His 11th place finish also earned him All-Region honors.
