At this past weekend’s SUNYAC Championships, Shine duplicated her indoor performance from this past winter by capturing a pair of conference titles.  Shine doubled up in both the 800 and 1,500-meter runs.  Her time of 2:11.00 in the 800 was good enough to set a new conference record in the event.  She now owns both the indoor and outdoor SUNYAC records in both events.

Shine earned a third medal in the 4x400-meter relay teaming with classmates Kerianne Engesser, Sheila Ramos and Lauren Bower.  The foursome recorded a season best time of 3:59.05 in finishing second in the event.

Shine’s performances helped the women win their first SUNYAC Outdoor title.
