Whittam went three for three against Muhlenberg with a home run, triple, single, walk and five runs batted in.
Through the first two games of the season Whittam is hitting .667 with six runs batted in with a slugging percentage of 1.667. She also has an on base percentage of .714 and perfect fielding percentage of 1.000.
The softball team is opened the 2016 season by beating both Muhlenberg (13-2) and New England College (16-0). They will continue their spring break trip in Clermont, Florida this week, and finish the trip in Columbus, Georgia at the NFCA Leadoff Classic.
