Guarnera set a new school record in the Heptathlon this past weekend at the Bomber Invitational. He scored 4,326 points to break the old mark of 4,091 points set at the same venue three years ago.

Guarnera recorded personal best marks in three of the seven events that comprise the Heptathlon. His all-time best marks came in the 60-meter dash (7.49), long jump (6.32m) and the pole vault (3.50m). His score puts him in the top-20 nationally in Division III.
