Szkotak led the team in scoring in both games of the Las Vegas Hoopla Tournament where the Red Dragons went 1-1 during the two-day event on Dec. 20-21.

Szkotak had 15 points, five rebounds and two assists in Oneonta's 67-50 win against Heidelberg in its opener.  She followed with a season high 21 points and 10 rebounds in a 61-50 loss to nationally ranked Babson College in the team's final game of the tournament.

The Red Dragons are currently 8-1 overall and 2-0 in the SUNYAC.  Before its set back to Babson, Oneonta established a new program record for consecutive wins to start the season when it ran off eight straight to begin this season.  They surpassed the 1976-77 squad that began the season 7-0.

Szkotak is currently second on the team in scoring and rebounding, averaging 12.7 points and seven boards per contest.  She is shooting a team best 87 percent from the free throw line, having his 20 of her 23 shots from the charity stripe thus far.
