Shine picked up where she left off from the indoor season where she earned All-American Honors in the 800-meter run.

This past Friday at the Sam Howell Invitational hosted by Princeton, she won the 800, competing amongst runners from Division I. Her time of 2:09.91 not only broke the Oneonta record, but broke the SUNYAC record of 2:11.25 set in 1991. The time is currently the fastest in Division III.

Shine now holds the conference record for both the indoor and outdoor 800.
