Shine headed to the Fast Chance Qualifier at St. Lawrence this past Friday with one goal; to qualify for nationals in the 800 meters.

Not only did Shine qualify, she ran ran the fastest time in Division III this season. Her time of 2:11.76 sits atop the national qualifiers list in the event entering this weekend’s NCAA Division III championships in Winston Salem, NC. Her time was also a program record, breaking the old mark by .19 seconds that was set back in 2007. The time was also a facility record.
