Cahill earned an individual SUNYAC title this past weekend in helping to lead the women’s team to its best finish at the conference championships. The Red Dragons finished second with 489 points.

Cahill’s conference title came on Friday in the 100-yard backstroke. She won the event with a time of 58.81 edging out the runner up from Brockport by .04 seconds. In winning the championship she set a new school record, breaking the old mark set in 2009.

Cahill came back on Saturday and captured a third place finish in the 200-yard backstroke. Cahill’s overall weekend performance earned her First Team All-Conference honors.
