For the second time in the last three weeks Lupia turned in a record setting performance in the middle distance. This past Saturday at Boston University he broke the school record in the 3K after setting the 5K mark on the same track two weeks ago.

His time of 8:29.53 broke the old mark of 8:35.01 set last year by teammate Mike Didas. His time was also an ECAC qualifying mark.
