Sutherland was selected as the SUNYAC Tournament Most Valuable Player after scoring both goals in a 2-1 victory against SUNY Cortland in the conference championship game this past Saturday.  The victory for the Red Dragons gave them their third SUNYAC title in the last four years while also earning its fourth straight NCAA Tournament berth.

The Red Dragons are currently 18-0-2 and Sutherland has registered 19 points to date on eight goals and three assists.  He also leads the team with five game-winning goals.
