Sussman had a busy, yet successful weekend for the Red Dragons. The captain kicked off the weekend with an 8-6 doubles win and 6-3, 6-3 singles win over rival Cortland.

Sussman then traveled to Geneva, N.Y. to compete in the ITA Tournament. She remained the last SUNY competitor standing as she battled to second place in the back draw.

She used an 8-3 win over Veronika Paikin of New Paltz, an 8-2 win over Melanie Frank of RPI, and an 8-4 triumph over Emily Walsh of Scranton to secure a spot in the championship match.
