O’Gorman helped the softball team win their first SUNYAC Tournament Championship since 2004 and secure the automatic bid in the NCAA Tournament.
Katie batted .462 in the four games, including going a perfect 3-for-3 against New Paltz in game 1.
For the four game set, O’Gorman had six hits, five of which were doubles, and drove in eight runs. Against Cortland in the championship game, Katie laced a double to right center field, with two outs, to bring home the game ending ending run.
Katie was named to the All-Tournament team for her performance in the championships.
