The men’s track and field team competed in the Bomber Invitational hosted by Ithaca College las Saturday. Highlighting the event was a big day in the throws for Roth.

In winning the shot put, J.D. recorded a huge personal best while getting himself to the No. 10 spot in Division III. His distance of 16.60m (54’-5.5”) was over one meter further than his previous mark and just shy of the men’s record. The mark was also a facility record by over 1.3m, which was set two years ago.  

Roth also was second in the weight throw with a distance of 17.55m (57’-7”).
