SUNY Oneonta Athletics

    Szkotak helped the women’s basketball team open their season this past weekend with 2 wins in the Skidmore Invitational.
    On Friday night, she had 14 points and 10 boards to help the Red Dragons defeat host Skidmore 57-50. She rounded out a solid performance by adding 2 steals and an assist.
    It took two overtimes and another good performance from Szkotak on Saturday to help Oneonta defeat St. John Fisher 82-75. She scored 18 points, going 7-12 from the floor including 1-1 from 3-point range.
    She was named to the All-Tournament team along with teammate Madison Slagle for their performances over the weekend.
