DeSimone helped the women’s soccer team clinch the SUNYAC Tournament title and the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament this past Saturday. Karly scored three goals in the two tournament games to earn the honor of the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.

In the semifinal against Brockport, DeSimone scored both goals for the 2-1 victory. Her first came off a deflected corner kick while her second was a hard shot from about 20 yards out, both in the first half.

Against Geneseo in the championship, Karly scored the opening goal of the game as she collected a ball that was not cleared and one-timed it to the back of the net in the 20th minute.
