DeSimone had one goal and two assists on the weekend to help the women’s soccer team win the 2013 Mayor’s Cup Tournament.

In the game against #23 RIT on Saturday, Karly set up the winning goal by breaking down the right side of the field and driving the ball along the six to teammate Kayla Ceschini for the game winner.

On Sunday, she scored the game winning goal in a 5-1 win over John Carroll. She picked up a deflected ball off the keeper off her own breakaway to score the second goal of the game. She also assisted on the third.

Her performance on the weekend earned her the Kim Muller
Offensive MVP award.
