Kennedy had a breakout year for the cross country and track & field teams. Last fall she finished third at the conference championship meet, which tied the best finish ever for an Oneonta female. It was the second straight year she finished in the top-5 at the SUNYAC championship meet.

During the indoor track & field season she captured the 3000m SUNYAC title. She also set school records in the 3000m and 5000m indoors and the 5000m and 10000m outdoors.
