Boburka travelled with the women's track and field team to the Cortland Classic hosted by SUNY Cortland this past weekend and came away with a new school record in the Heptathlon. Kacy won the event, scoring 4349 points, just 8 points over the second place finisher.
Kacy broke the record by over 1000 points, which was set in 2011 by Cailey Wood, who scored 3246 points.
Boburka was fourth or better in six of the seven events. She was first in three of these which included the High Jump (1.63m), the Shot Put (11.65m) and the Javelin (36.39m). Kacy was second in the Long Jump, third in the 200m dash and 4th in the 100m Hurdles.
