Remillard and the men’s track and field team travelled to the Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Bucknell University this past Saturday and came away with a new school record.

Charles broke the school record in the 5000 meter in a time of 15:04.36 set by teammate John Longo last season. It was the second time during the day that the record had been broke as Jim Berstein had done it in the heat prior to Remillard’s.

The time set a new personal best for Charles by over 1 minute as he had previously run 16:16.61 during the 2012 outdoor
season.
