In the two games last week versus Old Westbury, Hegmann set the Panthers down in order in the eighth inning of the second game to record his first victory of the season. He had entered the game as a reliever in the sixth inning. Hegmann allowed only two hits, struck out four batters and allowed no runs in the process.

He picked up his third save in game one as he pitched a scoreless seventh inning in relief of starter Benji Parkes. In the three batters faced, he struck out one, and got the other two to ground out and pop out.
