Miller couldn’t have ended his SUNYAC career any better as he captured three individual conference titles and set three SUNYAC records.

During the opening day at the championships, Alex was part of the 400-yard medley relay foursome that recorded a second place finish in a school record time of 3:27.01.

He also captured two individual SUNYAC titles on Thursday. He won both the 400 IM (4:07.81) and 100 backstroke (50.90 and set new conference records while reaching the NCAA “B” cut qualifying times in both. In the 100 back, Miller successfully defended his title from last year while breaking his own conference record in the event.

On Saturday night, Alex capped his championships by winning the 200 backstroke (1:51.62), setting his third conference record and reaching the NCAA “B” cut qualifying time in the event.

Miller’s performance during the championships earned him the Outstanding Male Swimmer of the Year award, becoming the first Oneonta swimmer or diver to be honored.
