Battistoni led the defense last week in three wins for Oneonta while contributing to the offense this past weekend in helping to lead Oneonta to the title of the Mayor's Cup tournament hosted by the Red Dragons.

On Saturday, Battistoni aided the offense with an assist on the final goal of a 4-2 win versus Clarkson.  On Sunday, after taking a 2-1 lead against St. Lawrence, he and his backline mates shut down the Saints by not allowing a single shot in the final 20 minutes of a 2-1 victory.

Battistoni's efforts in the back earned him the Defensive MVP honor of the tournament.
