In her first collegiate competition, Fabrizio was the top performer for the women at this past weekend's Cortland Classic.  Fabrizio had a busy day competing in four throwing events and holding her own.  In her opening event, she broke the school record in the shot put becoming the first woman to eclipse the 12-meter mark.  Fabrizio placed third overall with a distance of 12.33 meters (40'-5 ½").  Fabrizio also posted a fourth place in the javelin, an eighth place in the discus and a 6^th place in the hammer.
