Savello is a four-year member of the wrestling team. During his career, he has been a place-winner at the Will Abel Invitational twice. Savello has put together a career match record of 33-22 with four pins including a 15-8 record with two pins last winter.

Savello is majoring in education and has been recognized for his classroom accomplishments by being named to the SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll three times and the ECWC All-Academic Team twice.
