Johnston is a four-year member of the volleyball team playing in 64 matches and 196 sets. Johnston has collected 286 kills, 168 digs and 59 total blocks.
Johnston is majoring in Biology/Pre-Physician Assistant. She has been an active member of the Pre-Health Club serving as the Public Relations Chair, Vice President and now as President for this academic year. Johnston is a certified Nursing Assistant and was a clinic volunteer at Clinica de Alajuelita in San Jose, Costa Rica in 2019.
Johnston has earned honors on the SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor roll each year and, last year, was Inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society. She has also been inducted into the Pre-Health Honor Society of Alpha Epsilon Delta and the Biology Honor Society of Beta Beta Beta.
