Ali is a three-year member of the women's soccer team and has played in five career games. This year, she is one of the team Captains. She is pursuing a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics hoping to become a sports nutritionist.

Ali has earned numerous academic accolades while at Oneonta including Dean's list in four semesters. She has been inducted into both Phi Upsilon Omicron (Human Ecology Honor Society) and Omicron Delta Kappa (National Leadership Honor Society) while being the recipient of NYS Advantage and Human Ecology Department Scholarships.

Ali is a member of the Nutrition For Performance Club and was elected as the President for this year after serving for one year as the Treasurer. She is also a member of the Food and Nutrition Club and was elected as the Vice President in the spring of 2019. Ali is also a SUNY Oneonta OPROS ( Oneonta Players Reaching Other Students) Mentor and Leader.
