Fortier finished the past week with two goals and an assist to help the men’s soccer team pick up two victories.

Eric scored his first two goals of the season last Saturday in leading the team to a dominating road win at Vassar. His first came in the eighth minute of play as the keeper made the initial save on a teammates shot but rebounded to Fortier, who tucked it into the back of the goal. The game winning goal was scored in the 41st minute after he received a through ball and struck it into the lower left corner.

Last Tuesday, Fortier provided an assist on the first goal of the game when he took a quick throw in to a teammate, who was able to chip it over the keeper’s head.
