The track & field team traveled back to New York City last Saturday to compete in the NYU Team Challenge. Outram helped the women’s team finish 6th out of 11 teams and had her best showing of her rookie season.

Outram continued her steady improvement by setting a new school record in the 60 meter hurdles. Her time of 9.45 seconds was good enough for 5th in the event while reaching the ECAC qualifying standard.

She set the record by .09 seconds after tying it back on January 28th, which was previously held by Maureen Verdier.
