Croutier, who grew up in Rockville Center, N.Y., received his undergraduate degree in psychology and then attended Rensselaer where he earned his master's in industrial psychology in 1979.  While at Rensselaer he served as the women's basketball coach during the 1978-79 season.  He is currently the Senior Vice-President at Lehman Brothers where he has worked since 1983.
