SUNY Oneonta Athletics

George Werthmuller made his mark in the sport of basketball at the College.  During his career he was an All-SUNYAC First Team performer, team captain and team MVP.  He earned numerous selections as All-East Player of the Week as a two-year starter for the Red Dragons and led the team in scoring as a senior.

Graduating with a degree in History on 1970, Werthmuller has spent his career as a teacher, coach and administrator where he has enjoyed much success.
