SUNY Oneonta Athletics

Gary Lehr of St. Johnsville, N.Y. brought honors to the wrestling program during his varsity athletic career.  In a career that spanned 1965-1969 he was a two-year captain, a four-time SUNYAC champion and a four-time national qualifier at 177 lbs.

As a senior he was a College Division All-American and qualified for the Division I tournament while being chosen as the Oneonta Male Athlete of the Year.
