Munroe was a two-year starter for the Red Dragons and was a member of the 1972 squad that played for the College Division National Championship. During his career he was an All- New York State, All-SUNYAC and an All-American.

Munroe curently resides in the country of Jamaica where he and 2000 Hall of Famer Altamont McKenzie run a distillery.
